Flying Books 1.2
The Flying Books screensaver shows a flock of books flapping over your screen. You can set the number of books and the type of background. Images were rendered with POVRayâ??.
NameSaver 1.1
NameSaver is based on the EuroSaver code. Instead of the new currency of the EC it displays names or other bits of text waving over your desktop. It was made as a present for a group of children, with their names as default. (I have changed that default list.) Instead of names you can also enter other types of text, like quotes or short jokes. Options: -- Names -- you can edit the list of names. Put each name on a separate line. If you use other kinds of text keep in mind the text will be displayed line by line so if, for instance, you want to use quotes you`ll have to put each quote on one single line. -- Number -- indicates the number of names that will be shown at the same time. -- Subscript -- is a single line of text that will bedisplayed at the bottom of the screen. -- Background -- you can choose to have your desktop as background or hide it and have the saver run against a black background or a blue sky. You can also use an image of your choice. -- Shadow -- adds a dropshadow to the names (doesn`t work with a black background). -- Highlight -- gives the names their own shadow and highlight. -- Font -- pick a font and font style. -- Colour -- you can choose to have all text in one colour of your choice or have the program pick random colours. Click on the coloured panel to change the colour. -- Size -- this changes the size of the text on screen. The actual font size is also based on the length of the text, making each text item cover more or less the same surface. -- Speed -- changes the speed at which the saver will run. The speed will also be affected by the other options (number of names, shadow and highlight and the font face and size).
DogFight 3.0
DogFight is a screensaver with 3D rendered graphics. The Enterprise takes on a Bird of Prey in a desktop dogfight. See Starfleets Enterprise maneuvre against upto three Klingon Birds of Prey. You can set your desktop to shine through the background. v2.3 has new rerendered graphics for smoother animation. New in v3.0: sound, adjustable speed, explosions, ships can suffer actual damage visible in statusbars. New graphics.
Paintball 2.0
The Paintball screensaver turns your screen into a painters canvas, painting a picture in semi-impressionistic style using bouncing balls or (new in v2.0) blots of splattering paint. Five 3D-rendered images are included but you can also load images of your own choice, or let the saver make a painting of your desktop. You can adjust the fuzzyness of the painting by changing the size of the spots. The number of bouncing balls can vary from 1 to 64. New in v1.2: more balls, option to change the size of balls, option to add more then one images of your own, more speed options. New in v1.3: even more balls, time per image option, wipe canvas option, perspective ball size option, stretch/black margin option, help text in setting screen and improved graphics routines. New in v2.0: new graphics routines, new 3D graphics, Splat! mode added (for people who expected to see something more resembling the Paintball game).
Mozaik 1.1
Mozaik takes your images and turns them into a colourfull mozaic on your desktop. Options include tile size, speed and the possibility to create and edit a list of your own images. In v1.1 the option to choose from different patterns is added.
XMasMan 1.3
The SuperHero from SuperSaver returns in disguise in this cosy XMas screensaver, disguised as Santa, popping up from a screen full of Xmas trees. Optional snow, 47 songs to pick from and the new Xmas Joy option bring Christmas to your desktop. You can start with plain or snowy trees, or let the trees get covered by snow gradually. There`s a collection of 47 Xmas tunes you can choose from. The screensaver plays them continuously in a random order. New in v1.3 is the Xmas Joy option, which gives a slightly more cheerful impression with Santa jumping all over the place.
SuperSaver 1.3
The SuperSaver screensaver features SuperZero the SuperHero, dancing over the screen.You can choose to have up to 32 clones dancing around. If you let them dance long enough they`ll wear away the surface and you`ll see how big this new SuperHero`s ego really is. All images are 3D rendered. In v1.3 SuperZero`s loyal helper SideKick enters the scene. New in v1.1: random cape colours, removed the large running figure, desktop background added. New in v1.2: new graphics (new haircut), `behaviour` (superzeroes try to synchronize their movements), collisions, sound, improved graphics routines, maximum number up to 32. Hypnodisk 1.4
Semi-psychedelic screensaver takes your screen for a spin. The screen is filled with rotating tiles that slowly start to spiral. You can set speed, frequency, size and separate colour channels. New in v1.4 is the One big disk option.
Maggot2001 2.001
Creepy crawly screensaver. A horde of maggots crawl all over your screen eating away at it and revealing what`s underneath. You can choose to run it on a black screen or let the maggots have a go at your desktop. New in v2001 are the turbo speed option, that makes the maggots go like piranhas and the new palette combined with the added sound make the saver even more gross.
