Heroine Iysayana - Trilogy 1.5
Heroine Iysayana is a humorous Japanese-style role-playing game. It takes place in the crazy computer game world Byteria. Our title character is Iysayana, the only elf in the small kingdom Ashford. For her, life is nothing but a great party. She really doesn`t think about anything else than bashes, boys and booze - until now, when the goddess Yw`nafob forces Iysayana to become a heroine. Now Iysayana has to bear the company of annoying people who actually think they could better the world. Their task is to save Ashford from the ominous Lord Shadmyr and find the lost King Magnus. During their adventures they discover a plot to fundamentally change the face of the world, using some really extreme methods... Most of the time the game will be played in a 2-D perspective. This is where you walk around and explore the land, talk to people, visit shops, explore dungeons, search for treasures and so on. Whenever the party runs into monsters the game will change to a special turn-based combat screen. If you defeat your foes, your heroes will gain experience and money. At first Iysayana is on her own, but during the adventure other heroes will join your party. The different characters have different abilities, e. g. one may be a healer and another one a warrior, so make best use of them. When characters have gained enough combat experience they will grow stronger and learn new magic. You can use spells to attack monsters, but also to heal or strengthen your characters. But note that your magic energy is limited and must be refilled from time to time. Talk to the people in the towns to gather more or less useful information. Take a rest in an inn to restore your characters` health. There are stores where you can buy and sell weapons and armors. Other items can be used to heal the heroes in mid-combat. The game can be played using the keyboard or a joystick and comes with a detailed help file. You can save and load at any point in the game.
Scynse-Man 1.31
Freeware clone of the famous arcade game. While on the run from the evil Cigarette Ghosts, you navigate Scynse-Man through several mazes, gobbling all of the pills lying around. Power pills allow you to turn the tables and eat the monsters, earning lots of points. To gain even more points you can go for the fruits appearing at random places. Your best performances are stored in the high score list.
Odyssey of Col. Ranseier 3.01
More trouble in space: The Empire of Xolphur has declared war on the Confedaration. The problem is that the complete military forces are already busy conquering the Lula system. So the Super Intelligence Agency sends out Col. Ranseier to get the Vaxsyth Buster and destroy Xolphurian leader Colplath. And that means some things will certainly go wrong. Odyssey of Col. Ranseier is an action game. It`s difficult to define it more exactly, as the sub-genres alternate with each act. At times the Col. beats his way in classic platform style, later he finds himself in a space shooter and so on. Fortunately there is a password feature allowing you to start at any chapter.
Astrorix Gold 2.3
Classical arcade game. Use the mouse to move your bat and prevent the bouncing ball from falling off the playfield. The ball will then destroy the blocks and earn points. When all the blocks are gone, the game proceeds to the next level. The random items which appear on the screen can have a very useful effect, or be quite a pain in the neck, too. The game contains 15 different levels. The password feature allows you start at later stages right away, which of course include some additional surprises. But first you can adjust the number of your balls to make the game easier or harder. Your best scores along with your name are stored in a highscore table.
Skullbyte Match 1.2
Skullbyte Match is a compilation of several two-player games. FL??SCH!: A simple game where you must return the ball with your bats and have it collect items in order to earn more points than your opponent. On higher levels you must also deal with several obstacles and even multiple balls. Apocarlypse: A car racing game with nine different courses. The first player to finish ten laps wins. If you don`t feel like racing at all you can also shoot your opponent until his car is destroyed (or makes a pit stop, thus losing time). Flip Out!: This is the soccer-style sequel to FL??SCH!. This time, you can move your bats over the whole screen and have to push the ball into the opposite goal as often as possible. Again, you can collect a couple of items to give variety to the game. Hellrace: Another car game, but this time it`s all about shooting and destroying the opponent. Ammo is very limited, however, so make sure to get all those useful items first (but avoid the bad ones). Skull Kicker: A little soccer game. Score as many goals as possible, but the goal keeper and the loony referee will be in your way (and the other player, of course). Like the previous games, this one has several fields with different properties, like grass, sand or ice. Falling Anvils: This mini-game is all about timing. Wait for the exclamation mark to appear, then press the button as fast as possible and an anvil will drop on your opponent`s head. But don`t press too late or too early, or you`ll be the one to get hit... Depending on the game you can choose between several modes and options. You can also play a Mixed Match where the computer selects a random game each round.
