Niche Spider - what is it? Simple - it`s a spider, a piece of software which grabs specific webpage data. It can grab data from tens of thousands of sites, and then present the data collected in nice, neat pages WITHOUT THE NEED OF ANY DATABASE. Yes NO database programming required! When visiting a website, Niche Spider also leaves it`s calling card in the site`s visitor logs (the `Referer` and `User-Agent`, which you can set), just like Googlebot or any other spider or web crawler. That, in itself, is a great way to announce yourself to the world, and to generate some curiosity/traffic at the same time. However, Niche Spider is NOT Googlebot, or Yahoo`s Slurp, or MSN`s MSNBot. Google, Yahoo and MSN have access to computers, servers and databases us lesser mortals can only dream about. And the spiders they use crawl the web, looking for and following links to pages, which are then added to their respective databases. Such is their power they can traverse the entire web in a month or two, or less, adding and updating billions of pages in the process. Links pointing to any website are a MUST - and ONE-WAY links in particular are essential - if it is to rank nowadays in the major search engines. One of the best ways of building up one-way links is to write an article and then to submit it to article directories. The directories usually allow a resource box to accompany each article, containing information about the author. But, more importantly, the resource box can also contain a link directly to the author`s website! These one-way links, in essence, act like a `reward` for the author, because under article directory rules, normally, anyone using the article in their website MUST include the resource box, too. And they are NOT allowed to change anything about the article, including the resource box. Hence, a popular article, in theory, could generate a large number of one-way links, all pointing back to the author`s website. However, once a would-be author starts writing articles and submitting them to lots of different directories, keeping track of the whole process can become a bit complicated and confusing. But Article Writer solves the problem, easily! And it does a lot more besides, making the whole creative process a breeze, including hunting down article directories to submit to. Use Google itself. Go to Google`s keyword tool and save the results as a text file. Then open up the text file in Notepad, highlight the list, right-click to copy to the clipboard, and then click on Keywords in Rank Checker`s menu. Select the Load From Clipboard option. The Google list of keywords will be added to the keyword list. Three easy ways to add keywords. Up to 500 results checked for each keyword. And save the results in a handy report. Not bad for a completely free program.
